Ashlyn's wish went racing

For one weekend in August, the No. 76 Craftsman Series truck carried A Child's Wish across the hood and Ashlyn Cardone's name above the window. Ashlyn and her family came to Richmond Raceway as guests of the team: pit road, the garage, the grid before the race, and the truck under the lights.

Spencer Boyd met Ashlyn beside the truck before strapping in, and the family watched the race from the inside — the kind of once-in-a-lifetime experience every wish is built around.
